This movie was so special. I’m LDS, but just seeing the movie with the perspective of the main character not being LDS was awesome. It shows that no matter what religion (or no religion at all) we can be a positive role model for anyone. Such an endearing movie. I gave it five stars!!

Super cute!!

I expected this movie to be pretty cheesy and predictable… which it was to some degree, but it was actually really good. It was well thought-out, funny, and heartwarming. The cast did an amazing job, and the character acting was spot on… not too over the top, and just enough to be genuinely funny. It’s a great family film, and one I would definitely see again! Very, very cute movie!

Once I Was a Beehive

This movie was laugh-out-loud funny and choke-back-the-tears emotional. Stellar acting, tightly written script and toe-tapping soundtrack. I am a Mormon, so I found the cultural references entertaining, but the story is shown through the eyes of a non-Mormon. Anyone can enjoy this film about girls camp — but really about lessons life serves up each of us.

Captured the essence of Girls Camp

A delightful little LDS film that brings back memories to both leaders and girls of their experience of girls camp. Although there are moments of over-the-top acting and less than stellar plot twists, there are actually some moments of tenderness, quality acting and a resolve that reminds you how important it is to support family films and the LDS filmmaking community. Take a couple of hours and get a giant popcorn and reminisce and enjoy…

WOW

i went into this movie sceptic it would be more than a cheesy lds movie. And after only a few moments you realize how amazing this movie really is. It really shows the fun and humor of being together, unconnected from technology, and enjoying the beauty that is this planet and each others company. This movie will make you cry, laugh, and be inspired. I recommend everyone take the time to give this movie a chance.

I loved this movie. Great humor, and also made me cry at times. Great message. I think everyone should see this one. Restores something we have lost in out society today.
