Arthur Van Wagenen

Arthur VanWagenen currently works as the head of distribution for Excel Entertainment, a film distribution company wholly owned by Deseret Book.  Prior to leading Excel, Arthur was a partner in a documentary production company called MirrorLake Films in Salt Lake City where he produced work for BYU Television and an independent documentary entitled Children of Egypt (in post-production).  A graduate of the University of Utah’s College of Law, Arthur began his film career clerking at New Line Cinema (Lord of the Rings trilogy, The Notebook, Elf) in their business and legal affairs department. Arthur practiced entertainment and intellectual property law at Stucki Steele & Rencher (fka Stucki Steele Pia Anderson & Rencher) in Salt Lake City for four years before taking on producer roles at BYU Television (Studio C) and MirrorLake Films. He lives in Sandy, Utah with his wife and three children.
